WHAT CLASS CAN MY CHILD TAKE?

 

AGES 2 & 3 - PREDANCE

​

Our tiniest little tots enjoy exploring dance through music and rhythmic movement.

• The class is 1/2 hr. once a week.

• You may choose Saturday mornings or Tuesdays.

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• This class will prepare them for tap jazz and ballet next year.

• The season ends  in a recital at Performing Arts Centre.  You will be amazed by what these little people learn in one short year. See the video below.

NEW  AGE 3 & 4 YEAR - - KINDER ACRO

​

• The class is 3/4 hr. once a week.

• It will be Wednesday evenings 

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• The season ends  in a recital at Performing Arts Centre.

 

AGES 4 & 5

​

This group is ready to learn the beginnings of actual dance techniques.  We present these movements using lively age appropriate music, building a strong base for all future dance styles.  

• This age may choose jazz/tap combo, ballet (5 year olds, add acro and hip hop)

• The class is 3/4 hr. once a week.

• You may choose Saturdays or Tuesdays.

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• The season ends  in a recital at Performing Arts Centre.

 

 

AGES 6-7-8

​

The older the child, the more quickly they learn the basic steps.  We still choose lively, age appropriate music. This age may choose jazz/tap combo, jazz, ballet, acro (acrobatics and combine this with dance) and hip hop (packed with rhythm and a funky attitude)

• The class is 1 hr. once a week.

• These classes are held on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• The season ends in a recital at Performing Arts Centre

 

AGES 7-11

 

If you’re a beginner at dance, or already have dance experience, and you’re between the ages of 7 and 11, we invite you to be a Broadway Lights Junior dancer in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, lyrical, contemporary and hip-hop.

• The class is 1 hr. once a week.

• These classes are held on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• The season ends in a recital at Performing Arts Centre

 

AGES 12+

 

We have a large number of amazing teen recreational dancers.  They have a lot of fun while learning techniques in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop.

 

• The class is 1 hr. once a week.

• These classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

• The season is from September until the end of May.

• The season ends in a recital at Performing Arts Centre
